Baby Cocoon Finished

I just finished a baby cocoon for my Etsy store! Yay! Most everything I have in it is boy colors. So Im excited to have a girly cocoon. Heres a photo of it. My living room has sucky light and thats why most of my photos are so dark.

Its nice and cozy and warm for babies! And super cute!

Its like 3am and I guess I need to get to bed. Ive been up all night fixing my Etsy store and Im finally getting tired. Ive got a long day tomorrow. But before I go, I also made a beanie for the store! So I have two girly items now!

Its Been A While

Well it has been a while since I've been on here. I've been super busy with vacations and getting ready for the holidays. I have managed to finish a baby blanket for my cousin who will be born in abuot 3 months. Yay! Im excited! Heres the blanket (sorry about the dark photo).

Also I have been working on a few beanie hats for some of my little cousins. And I have started another afghan. A bigger one this time instead of baby size. I have been doing some custom baby blankets for others in time for the holidays. And I still have some for sale on Etsy. Anyways I could go on and on all night, but I better get to work on the blankets. =)

First Post!

Well I'm obviously brand new to Blogger. I've never blogged before, so I guess I will see how this goes. =)

Let me introduce myself. I'm a stay at home mom. I have two kids. Luis 5 and Isabella 6months. Husbands name is Alex and we live in Oklahoma. My son started school this year, so I have more time during the day for myself. However that will be changing soon, since Isabella will be crawling any day now! So far she can only turn herself in a circle, but shes trying ever day to scoot forward! In between playing, feeding and diapering the little girl, I crochet, read, and of course catch up on tv shows. My favorite things to crochet are baby blankets and beanies. In fact I'm about to try and write my first pattern! I have a niece who is having a baby in October and I'm going to be making a baby blanket for her. So what a perfect way to try and come up with an original pattern. I've never written a pattern before, but I'm super excited to try it!
Well also since I'm a stay at home mom, I've been selling Scentsy products! Which is great because my apartment smells awesome all the time!
I guess this is enough for a first post! I cant wait to get started on blogging, writing, and of course crocheting some more!
